Women's Sevens joins Comm Games
The International Rugby Board have announced Women's Rugby Sevens have been added to the programme for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
A favourite sport at the Commonwealth Games with a world-record 171,000 fans attending sevens at the recent Glasgow games, the women's even will run alongside the men's at Robina Stadium. Women's rugby is one of the world's fastest-growing team sports played by more than 1.5 million girls and women around the world. We can't wait to see New Zealand to make their mark on the Gold Coast in four years time.
