Portia earned her first call-up to the Black Ferns in 2013 after her leave-em’-for-dust speed and sidestep caught the eye of selectors.
A member ofthe Black Ferns Sevens team, Silver medalists at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and more recently Gold medalists at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Portia is also a member of the World Champion Black Ferns fifteens.
Portia was named World Rugby Women’s Sevens Player of the in 2016 and Women’s Player of the Year in 2017.
